The Coalition Priorité Cancer au Québec supports Bill 44 designed to intensify the battle against smoking in Quebec.
However, the Coalition is of the opinion that legislation alone will not be enough and that further measures are needed to significantly reduce smoking.
Furthermore, Coalition Priorité Cancer au Québec strongly encourages the Minister of Health and Social Services to reinvest in prevention and the promotion of healthy lifestyle habits and urges the Quebec Government to adopt a national prevention policy.
